Rest In Peace, Fujifilm Finepix S5200

So, this was my beloved camera that I received from my loving parents for Christmas of 2005. Recently, it's been spazzing out and having problems. It all started a long time ago when I turned on the camera and it said, "Focus Error", and wouldn't let me take a picture, but then it started working again about 10 minutes later. It had been working fine, juuuust fine, until I took it to the Gualala camping trip of 2007. I had taken about 150 pictures in the first day and a half, then my mother started using it and it started saying "Focus Error" again. So I tried fixing it like last time, but it did me no good. I accidently pressed the "format" button and erased all 150 pictures of the camping trip thus far....and sadly, the camera remained broken. The auto-focus is broken, I guess, which means that the camera no longer works properly.

But while I was home for my 2 week break of summer, my loving parents thoughtfully bought me the amazing Nikon D40. I LOVE this camera with all of my heart. It is my new favorite thing, I can't put it down. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I'm sure I will once I have read the manual and watched the DVDs (yes, there are DVDs). Here are some samples of the work of the D40 so far, my favorites.

I really like your photo's. I know nothing of SLR's and thus am stuck with crummy point-and-shoot camera's. Anyways, your page is neat; i like it.
